Sarah Honeycutt was born in 1853 to George and Mary Honeycutt in Stanly County, North Carolina. In 1867, she married James M. Eury. They had 6 children: Amanda Elizabeth Eury (born 1868), William Henderson Eury (born 1873), Eva Helen Eury (born 1882), Josephus Sanford Eury (born 1884), Mary Jane Eury (born 1889), Lela Pearl Eury (born 1890). Sarah died in 1909 due to unknown reasons (Death certificates in NC weren't required until 1913).
